OurStory

The honest journey of a small studio chasing big ideas. The highs, the all nighters, the reset, and the road back to what matters.

01

The Beginning

Splashbuckets

It all started in July 2026 with Splashbuckets. Mobile gaming had become a minefield of ads and pay to win mechanics, and we wanted to build the exact opposite. A gaming experience made for gamers to have fun again. A place parents felt safe bringing their kids. A game built on pure passion.

It took more than a few all nighters. Some days we were putting out eight social media posts, and the work paid off. We amassed over 100,000 views across social media, signed up 300 beta players, and landed a partnership with a social media star with millions of followers.

The Expansion

Naebly

Splashbuckets was growing, so we expanded into our next technology at the same time. Naebly began in an elevator. Our founder's girlfriend wanted to be a nanny for the building, but neither of them knew a single person living there. We were all packed in so close together, yet completely disconnected.

Naebly set out to fix that, bringing apartment communities together at a tenth of the cost of the existing software while offering far more. We signed our first beta users and shipped new versions, but money became tight. To keep going we started working with new founders and took on more projects, including an edutech tutoring company.

03

Too Much, Too Soon

Everything, all at once

Three technologies became five. Five became ten. Ten became more than twenty. We kept building because we kept wanting to build more, weaving everything into one interconnected platform with its own auth provider.

Sandenhub was becoming everything. But it was too much, too soon, before a single one of our products had truly broken into the market. There were countless all nighters, and almost every day a new product shipped.

04

The Reset

Back to the roots

Somewhere along the way, technology stopped being about passion, innovation and people. It became about shipping. About rebuilding the internet and trying to prove this company was going to beat every other company. That was never why it was built.

So we reset. We took a month off and built MergeBuckets, a free and chill merge puzzle game going right back to the roots of our passion. Video games with no sleazy mental tactics and no constant ads. Just something good.

The Revival

SideKick

After resetting and realigning to our purpose, we started SideKick. Our founder has played community football with the same team for over a decade, and SideKick grew out of a simple want to bring that team together.

That is where our focus is now, building it properly and looking to expand it, with the scope kept clear. Passion, innovation and people, first. Follow along to see where the journey takes us.
