SandenHub Pty Ltd, referred to in this Privacy Policy as “we,” “our,” or “us,” respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of players who use the SplashBuckets mobile game (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, disclose, and safeguard information, and it is intended to ensure that all players understand their rights and our obligations. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

We collect information in several ways in order to provide the services, ensure proper functioning of multiplayer features, and comply with legal obligations. Information that you provide directly may include account registration details such as username, display name, or email address if you choose to create an account. You may also provide information when you use multiplayer or chat features, upload or customize profile icons or skins, or submit feedback and reports through in-app tools or customer support. Information collected automatically may include device identifiers, device type, operating system version, language preferences, IP address, and log information about how you interact with the App. Gameplay and usage data such as scores, rankings, match results, purchase history, leaderboards, and progress across sessions is also collected. In addition, we may gather crash reports, diagnostic data, and network performance data to improve functionality, detect fraud, and prevent cheating.

Purchases made within the App are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or access your credit card numbers or banking details. However, we may retain purchase confirmation details, transaction history, and receipts to confirm entitlement, respond to refund requests, and provide technical or billing support. If you link or interact with third parties such as analytics services or advertising networks, we may also receive information from those providers in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We use the information we collect for several purposes. This includes providing access to the App, enabling multiplayer gameplay, maintaining leaderboards, supporting communication through chat systems, verifying purchases, and saving user progress. We also use information to ensure compliance with community guidelines, to prevent cheating, hacking, or abusive behavior, and to protect the safety and integrity of the player community. We may process information to develop and test new features, conduct analytics, improve performance, balance gameplay, and provide patches or updates. In certain circumstances, we may use information to communicate important notices, policy changes, service updates, or security alerts.

Chat and Multiplayer

Chat and multiplayer features require additional privacy considerations. You acknowledge that by using chat or communication functions, your content may be stored, logged, or monitored for safety, moderation, and enforcement purposes. We reserve the right to review, restrict, edit, or remove messages or other content that violates community guidelines, contains offensive or illegal material, or otherwise poses a threat to other players or to the integrity of the App. You are solely responsible for the content you share and you should never transmit personal, sensitive, or financial information through chat features. We retain the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that engage in harassment, bullying, cheating, fraud, or other forms of misconduct.

In-app purchases are entirely optional. All purchases are considered final at the time of confirmation. Refunds are governed exclusively by the App Store and Google Play Store policies, and any requests must be directed to those providers. We are not responsible for failures of payment processing, connectivity errors, or unauthorized purchases made on your account.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. However, we may disclose information in limited circumstances. We may share information with trusted service providers who perform services such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, or advertising on our behalf. These providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and only in accordance with our instructions. We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or enforce our policies. In the event of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We may use analytics services such as Firebase Analytics and similar tools to understand how players use the App and to improve gameplay experience. We may also display advertising provided by third-party networks that may collect device identifiers or similar information to deliver relevant ads. You can limit ad tracking by adjusting your device privacy settings. On iOS you can do this by navigating to Settings, Privacy, and Tracking. On Android you can do this by navigating to Settings, Privacy, and Ads.

We take the protection of children’s data seriously. The App is intended for players aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account or submitted information, we will delete such data promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal data without consent, you may contact us at splashbuckets@sandenhub.com to request review or deletion. For players under 18, we encourage parental supervision and consent before use of the App.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal requirements. Game progress, purchase history, and chat logs may be retained for a reasonable period for purposes of record keeping, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. If you request account deletion, we will remove personal information within a reasonable period unless retention is required for compliance with law, enforcement of terms, or ongoing legitimate business purposes.

We take appropriate security measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure storage systems, restricted access controls, and monitoring for suspicious activity. While we strive to protect your data using industry-standard practices, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. By using the App, you acknowledge that you share information at your own risk.

Depending on your location, you may have specific rights under applicable laws such as the Australian Privacy Act, the General Data Protection Regulation in the European Union, and the California Consumer Privacy Act in the United States. These rights may include the right to access, correct, update, or delete personal information we hold about you, the right to object to or restrict certain types of processing, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. The App may be used by players around the world and as a result information may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside of your country of residence. By using the App you consent to such transfers, including to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place when transferring data internationally.

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with applicable legal obligations including the Australian Privacy Act, the General Data Protection Regulation for European users, the California Consumer Privacy Act for California residents, and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act for United States users under the age of 13. Additional rights and obligations may apply depending on your jurisdiction and we encourage you to consult your local regulations.

We disclaim liability for damages that may arise from misuse of the App, disclosure of personal information in chat functions, unauthorized access to your device or account, or third-party activities outside of our control. By using the App you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SandenHub Pty Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the App, your violation of this Privacy Policy, or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.

We may update this Privacy Policy at our discretion to reflect changes in technology, law, or business practices. The updated version will always be available within the App and will display the date of the last revision. Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
